    I am that "unless" factor, @RadioactiveRadish. While true, I am not the best, I am, to say the least, "good enough". I do have an old star template that has sunspots, uses a fine cellular noise (high detail, high frequency), and "terrain" (for added detail :P). I am willing to share it if you want it.

    @Tallisar I did experiment with it a bit. Admittedly unless you’re amazing at planet making it’s hard to make stars, especially with blank template, look interesting.

    You could try using cellular noise for stars.
