Zeraphus

Zair - a - phis

"Hellish place for piracy"

Date of Discovery: 2192

Class:

Warm Desertic Sub Terra Moon

Statistics:
Mass: 0.0248 mE
Radius: 0.264 rE
Density: 7.38 g/cm^3
Average Temperature: 194F/363K
Rotational Period: Tidally Locked
Age: 3.85 billion years
Surface Air Pressure: 26.5 kPa

1st moon of Andreas
Very hot and inhospitable
Has raging sandstorms and large smog clouds

Major Cities and Colonies
Hades Magmaworks

Population: 933 million - The largest source of employment. This large factory boasts large pipes and drills to extract the metals and ores from the mantle. Although quite lethal (41% mortality rate), Hades does give some decent payment, despite the conditions.

Lore
Zeraphus is quite an odd moon. Zeraphus has an extremely large iron-nickel core with a small mantle. Because of the heavy industries like mining and refining, it heavily polluted the thin atmosphere. Even if the atmosphere were breathable, you would die of asphyxia. If that did not kill you, the gases would.
Zeraphus is also known for it's pretty yet dangerously polluted clouds. They are fast and wispy, mostly driven by the flow of heat due to the strong tidal force with Andreas. It has large craters which the meteors that caused the craters literally "punched" a hole through the Zeraphan (possessive pronoun) sky. Because of this, there are numerous "donut" clouds, but most of the "donut" clouds are formed by the direction of heat flow across the moon.
There are many Aid Shelters and Pit-Stops for travelers, but not many stay here long because this moon is a great hotspot for pirates and criminal dens.
Zeraphus is known to have an incredibly high density. This could explain why it has such a very thin mantle and a large core. Though Andreas does not have a large core, Zeraphus could have gotten it from the rings while it was forming since there are a lot of metals in the inner Arkkanian system.

Finally, after 2 months of development and time being on hold, I am finished with most of everything on this moon.

I used domain warps and certain noise types. Domain warps are found near the planet brush section of the noise. Just saying in case you do not understand @5874 .

"Oh, that looks incredible! How did you do the glowing red spots?"

The red spots are the lava cracks due to it being close to Andreas (parent planet). I made them glow by setting their emissivity to %100, then in the color editor, I set the intensity to my desired level. It does change the color, so I had to make it seem like it is the same color to get that red glow. I set the value more than 1. The default value is 0. I hope you understand this @BrythonLexi .
