Hello again! I think it’s about time for another SimplePlanes 2 demo, don’t you? Since the start of this year we’ve been hard at work on our biggest demo by far, and you can play it starting right now until March 2nd! This demo features both Driftwood Island and Bannock Station from the previous two demos, plus a new location, unlocked part properties, and more!
HOW TO PLAY
To play this demo, head on over to our shiny new SimplePlanes 2 Demo Steam page and click “Install Demo”. You’ll then see “SimplePlanes 2 Demo” in your Steam library and you can get straight to playing!
What To Expect
As with the previous demos, this demo offers a limited experience compared to the full game. However, as mentioned earlier, this time around we’re giving you a lot more to do! Here’s a neat list of what is and isn’t present:
Limited Designer
- Part properties, such as the procedural car engines, can be modified; allowing you to tune the performance of the stock crafts to your liking.
- Parts cannot be added, moved, or removed. Wings and fuselages are also unable to be reshaped.
- The paint tool can be used and decals can be edited, allowing you to personalize the stock crafts or bring new life into your old SP1 crafts with new textures.
Limited Map
- Driftwood Island, a small island densely packed with points of interest including a private airport with a whole race track going through it.
- Bannock Station, a militarized area on the southern-most end of the map featuring a military base, a power plant, and docks.
- Daland Airport, a previously unannounced rural airport on Vetusta Island just west of Driftwood.
Multiplayer
- Multiplayer is fully functional, allowing you to hang out with your friends and do activities such as races together.
Stock Crafts
- A ton of stock crafts are available to load and play with, made by our playtesters. A bunch of new ones have been added since the last demo; so many that I don’t even know exactly how many there are anymore!
Bug Reports
When you encounter a bug, please use the in-game bug report button to tell us what happened. It’s the little bug icon in the pause menu. Bug reports submitted this way give us various files such as your log file that help us a lot with deducing what went wrong.
If you’d like to discuss the demo with other players, or find people to play with, please consider joining our Discord Server! There are a lot of friendly people there who’d love to play.
As always, we hope you have fun <3
@PZLAgencies that's your opinion but your not considering other people.
