I hope that iOS gets update eventually and not in TestFlight
Yeah, overall quality has gone very much down lately.
So many problems with this. But I will start with the biggest three:
1. Why would we have radio communications when they can’t talk and you can’t control multiple at a singular time?
2. No inflatable reentry pod has ever been tested or even sent into space that I am aware of. Plus the astronauts themselves aren’t meant to hold them during space walks. They are meant to be more like lifeboats for space stations and/or long duration space transport that can be simply moved out of the stations.
3. Astronauts have never used a parachute. The closest we have ever gotten were the ejection seats on the Space Shuttle, Buran, and tested during the Mercury Program. Parachutes are not realistic in terms of extra mass.
4. The tether system is not directly attached to an astronaut. They don’t go around the entire mission with them. They are kept as part of the station/space vehicle.
Is this a career mode?
@NebulaSpaceAgency although one person make a forum every couple of days about getting to the next 100 points. It went 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, etc. that was annoying.
@Paris77 this isn’t really a great concept. This is a rocket game. It has airplanes but if you want fighter jets and stuff then you should have bough SimplePlanes. Guns and missiles just don’t make sense to add on this game. And custom explosives can be made. Some were made and published today.
It doesn’t actually help the creator either. If you upvote their craft and never test it then they can’t know if there is a significant problem.

Yeah sometimes you can get bored. There is a time when you have reached the line between what physics limit you to and what you limit yourself to. And at that point you have done everything you can. Then you discover something new eventually and get past that line.

There is a box in the left of the designer when you drag something that says sun assembly. Make a sub assembly of the craft by dragging the command chip.
@Arstotzka mining lasers are one thing. But guns and missiles are another. Mining tools would be awesome. And lasers that damage parts would be an interesting addition to that. The game will definitely need mining tools after or before campaign. But they will probably never need much more than that.
At least no tents got damaged in the process like SN8. Lol

Who else’s heart froze when it stopped at T-1?
Try lowering the nozzle throat size. It will lower the TWR a little but it is really the only way to raise the burn time without significantly downsizing the engine.
You mean @MRFOXYNEWS and @TerTech sulking up the forums? Also @iSpace is more than a Space X knockoff. Possibly just as good since he created and designed it himself.

So here is the thing. This is sorta been introduced with the mesh2craft mod. But we have learned that brush style sculptures get in the tens of thousands of part really easy. Large 2d shapes are easy because they don’t have as many vertices. But 3d shapes need more vertices, even for 1 degree shifts. So 3d sculptors would have to be limited, even for the most powerful pc’s.

I can code vizzy for docking procedures and latches.
@SoulBlazer plus Mac’s are one of the worst for crashing on high part counts I have heard. Even my phone runs better than some brand new ones with much better specs than iPhone 11.

@pabloplataa I am working on a PID controller for no-player crafts. If I ever complete it you guys could use it.
Try broadcasting to the craft in vizzy and then receive that broadcast on the launch pad command chip and then have that command chip set the input you want. You will need to set that command chip as the main one for the strong back rotator.

I was thinking the about this and I think it is awesome. Although you should put this here where the devs will most certainly see it. They don’t always check every single forum and this may not be seen. I think the suggestions in forums are here for things like asking for a new rocket or something from a player. But it won’t be as likely to be seen here.

Also you shouldn’t need to delete it. Just update it. And you can back up it onto a folder. That is what I do.
