We should be nice to the kids. If they ask questions that have been asked before, either kindly redirect them to the FAQ or just tell them the answer. If they say things that are wrong give them a link to an article that explains the subject or simply explain why they’re wrong. If they are being annoying kindly tell them to stop. If they don’t stop; just ignore them.
I actually enjoy answering their questions and helping them better understand things.
Remember, they’re just kids. You were them once.
I’m 18
If there was a free version it would have ads, but that would be annoying. Every five minutes you get an ad while in the editor. Or maybe an ad pops up right when you want to finish a maneuver, in turn causing you to overshoot your burn by hundreds of m/s. Just because you couldn’t press that tiny, impossible to tap, X.
Ah, sounds great.
But seriously. I don’t think that that’s the kind of game they’re going for.
Nah, I think it’s best that only the Devs can do it. It’s makes their blogs stand out and seem special. Which they rightfully ought to be seeing as the Devs are the reason this community/website exists. @MyMessage
@AndrewGarrison there should be a cargo bay that opens like a cardboard box. That way you could have a flat surface from the bottom of the cargo bay to the tip of the door, which would allow the use of cargo bays within a craft. Because right now if you were to open the doors, it would clip into any blocks adjacent.
It’s their game; they will add what THEY want. It might not be appropriate for a memorial for the lives lost for scientific advances to be in a video game.
I’m so excited! Especially since I’m a huge fan of Ksp, but it’s so glitchy on the Xbox it’s almost unplayable. Simple rockets 1 was my favorite game day.
I wish I had time to play. I’ve waited for the mobile release and now college is in the way. Once fall break hits I’m buying this game and playing the heck out of it.
Although this would be extremely fun and educational, I don’t think this would be considered simple as in the name “Simple Rockets.” I could see it however as a hidden advanced feature. If a newcomer/inexperienced player was presented with it, he would most likely become overwhelmed and discouraged.
The games main purpose of this game (correct me if I’m wrong) is to introduce concepts and inspire a want for more knowledge on the subject of space and rocketry. The game, if simple, should promote intrigue into the subject by allowing players to achieve goals (ex. landing on the moon) which would inspire players to consider a profession in that field.
This is obviously the most important part of the game.
+5 6.6 years agoI have an idea... just don’t worry about points. They are useless internet numerical figures that have no impact on your real life.

I’d expect that to come in the future. Along with dust flying up when you land on the moon.
+3 6.4 years agoI came for the chiggin nuggets. I was disappointed.

+3 6.5 years agoThat’s an expensive and heavy wedding ring. Poor guy that buys that for his bride to be, but I feel even worse for the bride.
+3 6.6 years ago@rhuetherjr I’m not saying your post is pointless. Mine wasn’t. I’m just venting over what Tully did :(
And yes I’m extremely excited too!😁

+2 6.3 years agoOf course it’s Andrew’s fault.
+2 6.5 years agoDuh
+2 6.6 years agoI think you can change the size of the landing legs themselves. @Seanbon007
+2 6.6 years agoDon’t be sad Andrew. You could always ask the other devs about adding a bioreactor fueled by alien bodies. @AndrewGarrison

+1 5.9 years agoCan you play Simple Rockets 2 on it?
+1 5.9 years ago@nathanmagnus yeah, I got mine removed. It wasn’t even a useless post; it was sarcastic post about pointless posts.
+1 5.9 years agoKeep a reminder that Andrew still hasn’t eaten the black licorice.
+1 5.9 years agoSo many milestones hit today! Congrats!

My first mission will be setting up a surface base on the moon.

+1 6.4 years agoThat’s a lot to read.
+1 6.4 years agoCool man!👊
+1 6.4 years agoSR2 will be released on steam.
I think Andrew said that cockpit interiors aren’t planned yet. There has already been a blogpost featuring the command module.
I think Andrew said something about adding astronauts. I think what he said was he hoped to have them in by the Q4 full release.
No idea on the life support.
Not sure about specific cockpits for planes. You could always make your own.
If there are astronauts then expect passenger modules, or in maybe you’ll just have to add a bunch of command modules.
Andrew plans on adding re-entry heating.
+1 6.4 years agoNooo... it’s definitely not Andrew Garrison.
Okay, so maybe it is...okay fine! It’s him, now leave me alone.
