Maybe the keyboard settings changed a key on you.
Sticky keys they call it for shortcuts or if you picked french keyboard by mistake it could be adding accents to some letters your unaware of.
I just started that contract last night.
I managed to do the first two with my cargo drone since it already has propellers.
I "flew" it under water.
It won't do the 3rd contract though so I'm probably going to make this drone into a boat and use it's propellers to keep me floating.
I made mine as big as possible and made the deflation diameter be the same size as the inflation diameter.
Also let it open a max speed and not auto cut.
Default settings are for Droo I believe so just thin the atmosphere about 1/3 less and to release higher in the atmosphere for cylero chutes.
@DONZA collisions are in there, it probably works with expressions or something complicated.
Hopefully one of the experienced vizzy folks will see this and help
@DONZA
Well dude,
I made a craft and tried a few vizzy codes with no success.
I'm sorry, I have done this concept before a few times
I'm not sure if I'm forgetting something or they changed something.
I'll play with it a bit more to see what I can do.
I even tried parts distance deciding the activation but that doesn't seem to do anything at all.
@DONZA ok Impulse won't work for that.
Even if you make a pressure pad with Impulse, it will feel the craft moving and active every second.
You will need to get creative with it.
Try putting a trap door in the hole and attaching it to a hinge rotator.
Then in vizzy, set that hinge rotator to activate the action when it goes from 0% to say -10% as the block moves the free moving hinge down.
Do that using part numbers.
@Zenithspeed
The issue with plane mode is that it loses reference to the planet once you get above 80,000 feet.
That's why heading lock doesn't work and the controls get confused.
Rocket mode switches from planet reference to sun reference automatically
Indeed it is the command chip at fault. Its not set to Rocket.
Once its set to rocket, rotate the plane facing forward using the command chip so the entire plane makes the rotation.
Then, click on control settings and adjust pilot orientation to face forward also or heading lock wont work properly.
@dingo87
You need to fine tune your rocket weight and thrusters alot until you get a good system going.
Even then with a good rocket, It can take me many tries and I'm good at it.
If you mess up your launch by a few degrees that can mean the difference of 20km or 100km in the end.
Yet still, if we consider that most rockets have their own shapes and weights, they don't all launch the same way.
Keep testing and make notes of your successes.
I suggest making a second career game and take notes of their launching lessons during tutorials.
You could math it in vizzy but I just repeated the challenge until I found the right path.
The biggest thing to keep in mind is having a breaking system.
Aim to over shoot it in map view.
Then pull parachute.
Youll see how your falling path changes in map view.
Use engines to break and push you on target.
Best work around I found was to only let things activate using vizzy and toggles.
For example,
Instead of using an active group or staging to activate a motion, tell vizzy that when toggle one is flicked during flight then allow the hinges in the control surfaces to work kind of thing.
Even then, sometimes you have to find a way to destroy the old command chip.
I usually just put it on a side interstage and dump it.
Docking ports connect using a magnet.
On land they work better with a shock to allow for it to make its own adjustments if both crafts are not square to each other.
Horizontal connections are harder than vertical connections.
I would put a docking port on top of the plane and then drive under the refill hose.
It did when career came out.
Slowing down again a bit but they have competitions now that keep things exciting so I think its going to be good for a while at least
You need to buy astronauts first.
Then you will have astronauts to assign.
Remember that you can only assign one craft to an astronaut at a time.
So if you have one in orbit or on the moon from last launch, you will have to buy another astronaut to assign to a new craft.
@ZeusSpaceAgency
Is the comm chip or its pilot facing upside down?
I had this issue before twice and i fixed them by deleting the chutes and fixing the comms chip then replace chutes. i think

Do a moon base building rover that can stack blocks like it's 3d printing.
