You could math it in vizzy but I just repeated the challenge until I found the right path.
The biggest thing to keep in mind is having a breaking system.
Aim to over shoot it in map view.
Then pull parachute.
Youll see how your falling path changes in map view.
Use engines to break and push you on target.
Well, theres a mirror option somewhere. Find that in the tabs.
Tricky part is understanding what your mirroring.
If you mirror the craft itself, you will be copying one side and printing it to the other side.
If you do the wrong side just click undo.
Now
If you are trying to mirror parts then it can get weird.
Sometimes youll end up with a messed up look.
Basically it will mirror everything in the same branch that the parts are connected to.
So for example, say you are making an octopus and trying to mirror individual legs from one side to the other.
If you mirror a part half way down the leg then youll only copy and paste half of the leg.
Just mess with mirroring until you understand it. Its the best way.
Use a craft you dont care about or be sure not to save it.
Best work around I found was to only let things activate using vizzy and toggles.
For example,
Instead of using an active group or staging to activate a motion, tell vizzy that when toggle one is flicked during flight then allow the hinges in the control surfaces to work kind of thing.
Even then, sometimes you have to find a way to destroy the old command chip.
I usually just put it on a side interstage and dump it.
Docking ports connect using a magnet.
On land they work better with a shock to allow for it to make its own adjustments if both crafts are not square to each other.
Horizontal connections are harder than vertical connections.
I would put a docking port on top of the plane and then drive under the refill hose.
It did when career came out.
Slowing down again a bit but they have competitions now that keep things exciting so I think its going to be good for a while at least
You need to buy astronauts first.
Then you will have astronauts to assign.
Remember that you can only assign one craft to an astronaut at a time.
So if you have one in orbit or on the moon from last launch, you will have to buy another astronaut to assign to a new craft.
@ZeusSpaceAgency
Is the comm chip or its pilot facing upside down?
I had this issue before twice and i fixed them by deleting the chutes and fixing the comms chip then replace chutes. i think
@Zenithspeed I suggested it a couple times but it gets shrugged off for some reason.
Im sure it could be done and just have an option to turn it off in graphics for mobile potatoes.
@Zenithspeed
Sounds tight dude!
I wish terrains had different effects like traction and drag.
Slippery snow/ice or sand that drags could make things so much more real.

5 days agoDid you check weight ratio to be sure you're not nose heavy?
5 days agoI would post the craft so people can decipher the issue.
It usually goes faster that way.
I think people forget about foxtrot too so dont feel too bad.
+1 5 days ago@Transair57 in the craft designer screen. Top left

I havent posted anything I care about in a few years.

Good idea

All in the vizzy work
Last Galaxy I had was S8.
23 days agoIt had no room for games.
Maybe you need to delete some stuff then reinstall the rss
You need a better space ship.

Did you edit it to be ultra heavy?
+1 one month agoI made a heavy craft once and all it wanted to do was clip into the ground and explode after a couple mins
Keep these competitions up through the winter and I will be able to join. No time for builds until then.

Did you tinker it smaller?

Doing good. Keep it up.
