Dwarf-1 is NEOSTAR's first satellite in the Dwarf series, designed for remote sensing.
LiDAR (LIGHT DETECTION AND RANGING):
Measures distance with light. There are 2 LiDAR laser transmitters and 1 receiver onboard.
The satellite's spectrometer creates spectrally resolved images, which are used to monitor Droo at different wavelengths.
The satellite's imaging radiometer scans the surface of Droo to recreate the image. This has a variety of uses in observation.
