When I started this build I was mainly just testing new building techniques and playing with shapes and did not intend to make a replica, so the size and some of the shapes and angles are not right

Description

The ship is a three-man yacht, well-designed and well-built with a small living space. The ship had been designed around a standard engine configuration and used a well-known build code.

The interior of the yacht is cream and orange. The control panels use simple touchscreens and are old enough that their surfaces have started going grey at the corners. The voice control function did not work well as it had been tuned to the orginal owner, who was Chinese.

Background

Solomon took the money he’d saved from his performances and efficiency bonuses and bought the vessel. When he bought it, the ship was almost five years old, and had been sitting in dry dock for eight and a half months since its previous owner — a junior vice president of a Luna-based conglomerate — had died.

For Solomon, it was the perfect test vehicle. He used it to test his design for a magnetic coil exhaust that he believed would greatly increase drive efficiency.

Using his own ship he was able to build an improved fusion engine known as the Epstein Drive, giving humanity the ability to exploit the resources and colonize the asteroid belt and the outer planets.
