The program can be used with any craft and any planet
How To Use
go up to an altitude of (AGL.50000) and down to (AGL.40000) then the Vizzy is automatically activated

@ahmad183 it's very impressive how you managed to make this program very simple and easy to understand, I liked

@kittman yo hice algo similar, logras un aterrizaje perfecto en cualquier planeta si te interesa este es el link https://www.simplerockets.com/c/296nhW/BEAGLE-XVII-AUTOLANDING-V2

@UlabiAerospace Agreed. I'd already seen and tested out @Harryferrett's craft and code and I totally agree that it's definitely a "suicide" burn, and this one could perhaps be more of a "auto-landing" script. I mean, it works programmatically which, to a total vizzy n00b like myself, is magic.
Seriously tho, the coding works, even if it's not an efficient way to pull off an auto-landing.
One difference between this one and Harry's (among other ones) is the number of engines. This has a single large engine vs. multiple engines. I have absolutely no clue how that may factor into the equation, if at all.
There is another suicide burn auto landing craft posted recently by @RoyalSpace that works as well as this one and Harry's:

This craft is a bit more elaborate, it has a launch sequence, a tower with umbilicals, flashing lights and even some beeps shown in for fun. The program will fly it up to 2500-ish meters, coast, and land. One thing that really impressed me with that code is after it's already landed, you can throttle it back up, fly it up to whatever altitude you want (keeping in mind there needs to be fuel enough to land) and it'll land itself again. and again. and again. I think I was able to get five takeoff/landings with the fuel onboard. and it stuck the landing each time. He's since created an entire two-stage craft that works pretty similar to the Auto-reuse cargo rocket by The Queen of Vizzy herself, @KellyNyanbinary. that is to say it performs craft switching, putting it's cargo into orbit while the first stage returns to land. Granted, it doesn't aim for a landing pad like hers (which blows my mind), but it lands nonetheless. It's worth checking out.
And I know grid fins are grid fins, but I really like the look of the ones on @ahmad183's rocket. :) -

@ahmad183 Awesome! I'm gonna try it on some other crafts as well. I tried landing on mars with it and it came close but hit the ground a bit hard. no explosion but it tipped over after landing. still amazing tho

@kittman You can change the variable (craftHight). to change the height of the rocket you want to use

Okay... I'll be the first to say it...
This.
Is.
AWESOME.
...cuz it WORKS!
but just to clarify, as long as the craft plummeting towards the ground is over 40000m AGL it works, right? I don't find any reference in the code for 50000m, just <40000m, with the vizzy magic starting at <39000m.
Also a big thank you that, for us impatient pilots, this supports FF (which for me is 5x) all the way down to 2000m before the vizzy puts the craft back to 1x speed right before sticking the landing. and stick the landing it does!
is there a percentage of fuel required to complete the suicide burn and still stick the landing? I'm sure its different based on the mass of the returning booster or lander, right?
fantastic job! I wanna see more! :D
Oke 👌
