    @Dghnfdhnb pneumatic heating is this user’s term for aerodynamic heating, in which extreme speeds cause a bow shockwave to be formed. This shockwave traps extremely hot gases which radiate the heat converted from the object’s kinetic energy back towards it. This is typically seen in the hypersonic speeds of atmospheric entries.
