This is a de-tuned, cheaper version of the R.250 Super Heavy-Lift.

--$24.2m.
--no tinkering
--Uses KAL 1.2.1.
--Comes with 50t dummy payload that it can orbit, no problem, with d-v to spare.

Main booster can be recovered. Afer upper stage circularizes, swap to the booster and lock prograde, and arm the parachutes (obviously).

This has no heat shielding at all on the modesty inlets / engine covers as they don't stick out now. If anything, it's over-shielded on the interstage. It's a ramp-down grain to help it turn, but that also means this doesn't pick up speed like a liquid rocket. Re-entry speeds are low, and heat is not an issue here. Recovery value will depend on where it comes down, and that depends on how heavy the payload is. Given it's normal flight path, I don't expect recovery to be worth it on most occasions.

Yes, we're running with a 100% delta nozzle to give a solid rocket motor good vacuum efficiency. Wild. I even tested 200% nozzles, which gave a tiny d-v benefit, but were damaged due to over expansion in the first few moments of the flight. And that hurts recovery profitability.

Most of the time my launches (and yours too, I dare say) are not going to exceed the abilities of this rocket.
