Auto Credit Based on AstroAerospace's Ion Cargo Orbiter

[Basic Info]

The Ion Cargo Orbiter V.2 (Full Ion) is my upgraded version of the original craft.

It has a 100% reusable second stage now with a reusable first stage as well.

[About this craft]

The first stage is fitted with 53 powerful Ion Engines to propel the second stage into orbit or even to your desired destination for takeoffs on other celestial body's.

It's also equipped with a gyroscope as ion engines don't gimbal well. It also has 6 grid fins and 6 emergency parachutes if you need to slow down quickly

The second stage is capable of taking moderate sized but heavy payloads anywhere in the solar system as many time as you desire. It is also accompanied by 78 efficient ion thrusters which can help with or orbital corrections along with one powerful main thruster.

Both the first and second stage have close to unlimited delta-v but uses lots battery power. However power consumption is not much of an issue as both stages have large batteries and are mounted with plenty of solar panels

[Launch/Flight Instructions]

- Lock heading to current

- Activate action groups 3,4, and 10

- Launch!

Only staging required is the interstage as all engines are controlled fr the AG tab.

[Note]

When re-entering the first and second stage for landings, make s-ure you have your gyroscope and RCS are activated. Use parachutes to slow down substantially if needed.

    @AstroAerospace That's pretty awesome.

    @PanzerAerospace Tinker panel for some part sizes/mass reduction and XML editing for engine thrust but only for a few of the engines. The majority of them are stock Ion engines primarily for show.

    Wow. did this require any tinker panel?
