Description
This is a simple indicator that works in two modes. By default the indicator shows the current craft heading, in "target" mode the indicator shows the direction to the selected target.
How To Use
In The Designer
Place the MFD panel in the desired location of the craft, use the Tinker Panel or the panel height and width sliders to scale.
Important! The panel must remain square.
In Flight
1) Select a target at a distance of 999 km or less;
2) Press the ''TRG'' button;
3) To move to the target try to align the direction lines in the center to represent the "+" sign, also the purple indicator will help you to correct the heading of your craft.
Notes
- I tried to make this indicator the most universal, so it just shows the direction to the selected target regardless of the position of the craft relative to the target. This indicator can also be used for landing, but it may require a slight modification of the program.
- The indicator can only work on crafts controlled by the player.
- The label on the upper left shows the distance to the selected target in kilometers;
- The label on the top right shows the angular position of the selected target relative to the craft in degrees.
Free to use and modify! I hope this will be useful to you in your own crafts.
