DESCRIPTION
Designer Tools will simplify your SimpleRockets building experience with tons of new tools.
REQUIRED DEPENDENCY: Juno Harmony
Useful Links :
Some functionalities will be spread around the designer interface but you will find most of them under the designer tools tab on the left. Currently, the only tools added are the Reference Images tools and some view tools, when you open the panel you will be able to switch to an orthographic view and add reference images to simplify and have a greater precision for building replicas.
Note that this mod won't make your craft unsharable. Even if MODS DON'T WORK ON MOBILE any craft you build with this mod will still be useable on mobiles or computers that don't have the mod installed as these are just tools and nothing gets uploaded with the craft.
Bug reports and suggestions:
I'll gladly take any bug report or suggestion here in the comments or over on discord on SRC or Complex Rockets. Just make sure to check the RoadMap / Bug list before to see what features are already planned and what bugs are already known.

android and iOS do NOT support mods
My bad figured it out
I have proplems loading i t and getting errors
@AramL nevermind I found out how to put mods in the mod folder and also I use both devices, PC, and android.
@Majakalona you can't have mods on android btw, I see you have some crafts made on android
@Majakalona what are you having trouble with? did you check that?
how to put mods in the mod folder?
@AramL ok, thaks for your help.
@AlphaAreospace first of all, the version you can download on the website right now isn't 1.0. There was some delay in the release. You can download It from the ComplexRockets sever if you want it now. To add a reference, you open the designer tools flyout, then the reference images panel. when you click select image, it will open the image selector where you should see the path of the folder where you need to put your reference images in. put your images in there and then click select image again, you should now see your images in game and you can select them. The options of the image will then appear
I'm wondering, how do I add reference images?
@AramL I honestly am not sure, I haven’t tried since, I was really busy. As soon as I can I will try
@AramL sad
@RenkoUsami I'm aware that its kinda broken, sadly I can't do anything right now
1.09 we met some bug in this version
@Ninjacodersc2010 Did it go back to normal size after? I'm planning on rewriting this mod from scratch it has many bugs coming from the core especially since it hasn't been updated for 1.0. Until then I won't try to fix bugs if they don't break the mod. I don't really have time right now.
Bug: the first time I opened the view tools button, it was too large for me to see anything, like it had zoomed in. Im on windows 11
ngl, it'd be cool if SP had its blueprints like this
@AramL i didn't even know that button existed until you mentioned it
@SethTheEngineer wait that happens every time? Is it possible you forgot to save the images with the save reference images button. When you undo the craft is reloaded and so are the images, if they're not saved they will disappear
Found a extremely annoying bug: When undoing a step, the reference images stop working. I have to manually add them again and punch in the numbers.
@DiroL
What do you mean by that ?
It would be great to add a stock game like this
FUCK IOS DAMMIT! WHY DID I HAVE TO PICK IOS, I'M SUCH A DUMBASS!!!!!!!! WWWWHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
A way to solve "Going to crazy on the multiple part selector can freeze the game" with lower possibility for losing your unsaved craft: open dev con, go into planet studio,exit planet studio, back to designer, save the craft now.
(Tested)
@ComradeHoovy SimplePlanes does have this. There is a mod and a in-game feature.
