DESCRIPTION
Required Dependency
More time acceleration steps, modified time warp behavior, and new customizable keybinds for fined tuned simulation time control. Useful for those who sometimes wish to speed up boring in-atmosphere flight and long burns, but don't want to simultaneously give up 2x speed. Super slow-mo speeds can be fun and useful as well.
Change Log
V0.22 Update
- Added Mods settings option to enable or disable the feature to maintain time warp speed through pause/unpause. If disabled, time warp speed will return to 1.0x on unpausing.
V0.21 Bug Fix
- Fixed bug where exiting flight in a warp mode and re-launching could cause the craft to explode.
V0.2 Update
- Keybinds added to set the time acceleration to either Slow-Mo, Normal Speed, Fast-Forward, or Warp Speeds with one click. These provide key commands to mirror the click buttons in the top right Time Panel.
- Mods Settings Menu contains a WARPSPEED entry to specify the additional key commands for the mod. It also contains settings for the default Slow Motion and Fast Forward time acceleration speeds that are set when first entering either mode by pressing the Time Panel buttons or using the new key commands.
V0.1 Features
- Slow-Mo Speeds (1/64x, 1/32x, 1/16x, 1/8x, 1/4x, 1/2x) available at once. Slow-Mo Speed setting in the Game Settings Flight menu is now ignored.
- Fast Forward Speeds (2x, 4x, 8x) available at once. Fast-Forward Speed setting in the Game Settings Flight menu is now ignored. These are the physics-enabled time acceleration steps, not the Warp speeds (10x and up), which are unchanged.
- When unpausing with the Pause Key Command, the time warp speed returns to the last speed before the pause.
Notes:
- Diving into an atmosphere or toward a celestial body now only drops warp speeds to 8x, instead of 1x. This might be too fast to react and manually slow down time warp, but I think this could be fixed.
- Recommend using keybinds to manipulate time warp speeds.

It looks like this mod has a bug when running a Vizzy script.
At the start of the program, and at each new step, it sets the time speed to 1/64.
I can get it to go to the correct 1x timescale, but I have to "Set time mode toTimeWarp4
" after like each orange stage. -

@Activatewindows Actually, I have a good solution to this problem by using the Mods settings menu. I will have an v0.2 update to the mod shortly that allows customization of new keybinds and also customization of the default slow motion and fast forward speeds.

@Activatewindows So I have a version of the mod with keybinds that mirror the buttons at the top right Time Panel, so you can return to 1x with one keypress, but the game does not currently expose the interfaces to add keybinds to the default Control Settings menu, so any keybinds I set may conflict with any custom keybinds a user has set. Making the keybinds configurable per user will be a bit more work, since the mod will need new UI windows that handle that configuration and text files that are saved and read by the mod each time the user updates the bindings or loads into the flight.

a slider in place of the time control would be a good option, changing between 1/64x and 1x gets tedious

@elec0 I was hoping someone else found this issue. It's driving me crazy! It keeps messing with my craft's interstage.
