Our new lander, the Phoenix-Class Lunar Lander, has completed its preliminary testing, and is getting ready to be fitted with its first payloads and begin its journey to the Moon. The mission is designated as OA-1, and will land on Haworth Crater Ridge, in the area of the South Pole-Aitken Basin. It will deploy several payloads related to lunar dust and mineral studies. Additionally, it will deploy two of our in-house developed Fox Moon Rovers(their names have both been decided already). Anyways, Orion Aerospace is calling on the community name its first lander. The theme in which we name our landers is after Greek gods, goddesses, or heroes. If you have an idea for the lander’s name, put it in the comments, as well as an explanation for why it is a good name for the Phoenix OA-1 lander. The winner will be announced on launch day, and will be mentioned in the Phoenix Lander Post for their effort in the program. Enjoy!

Also, don’t worry if your idea for a name isn’t selected at first; we have 4 more landers on order!
