To begin with, I worked more on the first 2 gas giants, Domar and Anderoth. FYI Anderoth is Andrellis, since I didn't like the name. Domar got a good overhaul, which added better lighting and effects, and added storms! But it is not the regular "realistic" storms that are just a little dark circles around a band, I added TRULY REALISTIC STORMS. I also got a bit inspired by a gas giant from Elite Dangerous, since most gas giants have small and scattered storms. With that being said, here is Domar:
You might be asking how I did this, well it was quite simple! Using just some cellular noise that just so happened to be around and a remap curve. I used another remap curve to set the storms' spawn location I concentrated them where I wanted them. I also added small polar storms, since the poles were quite empty, I decided it would be nice to add little storms around her:
North Pole:
South Pole:
They are small since TFF Lore does state that Domar has small storms, but at least the views of Domar on the Domaran Moons will be pretty! I also added some volumetric clouds to Domar, because it is not only good looking for flying on Domar, but also in scaled space, you can see the detail, as shown here:
Finally beauty shot of Domar!
I also did the same for Anderoth! For those of you who don't know what Anderoth is, it is a gas giant that was once known as Andrellis. I changed the name because of TFF Lore complications, but either way, I added storms to it! Anderoth is one of the first Hyperants and is a good friend of Andreas. Anderoth (the Hyperant) is powerful (less powerful than Andreas), and sometimes has a turbulent attitude. Although Andreas and Anderoth are friends, sometimes Anderoth is a "little" crazy, and for that reason, I added big storms, to show its turbulence and toughness.
Though they are not that big compared to other gas giants, Anderoth has the 3rd biggest storms in the ENTIRE ANTARIUS SYSTEM!
Just like what I did for Domar, I made Anderoth's bands and clouds volumetric, for the same reason I said for Domar, "-it is not only good looking for flying on Domar, but also in scaled space, you can see the detail". Forget the Domar part in the quote, just use it as an example. Since most of Anderoth was already made, there wasn't much to be shown; at least you guys can enjoy these last two beauty shots!
I might not be a good planet maker but I put a lot of work into
