Basically so that we can get an idea of a ground location we're aiming for.
I want it
@Exo200 if a small time mod maker can make realism overhaul then jundroo can do this
This would be an extremely useful and amazing new feature if added! :)
Re entry trajectory estimations to the landing site would also be a nice addition
@CodeCaptain no one has to waste their time on a functional vizzy landing system.also what do you mean this wouldn't be that hard to implement.in fact someone could easily a mod of it please use your brain before making a rant. thank you
also an atmospheric trajectory would be pretty nice when you want to reentry and land near the space center
@C919 are we playing kerbol? NO! so why even bring that up. Kids these days, i tells yah!
A hanger in KSC@SelectAKey
@C919 whats SPH? i was talking about the hangar just off the launch pad
in fact, I think it’s SPH@SelectAKey
It actully isnt strictly necessary, just to play "devil's advocate" here for a minute.
You can target any craft at the launch site, for one, like a control tower that you put there for example.
If you want to use vizzy to land at an exact spot you can land at any spot as long as you know the lat/long coordinates. You do know where you launchpad is located, right?
I don't mean to rain on the parade, I know this would be a nice extra. But the developers can only make so many features per release.
very useful thing for creating colonies on the planets
i was gonna park something by the VAB
This could be used for vissy, you can now re-use rockets!!!
Why I didn't upvoted this??
Really good idea, specially now because of Vizzy, that could make possible a precise Falcon 9 landing.
@AndrewGarrison a possible implementation would be to treat launch locations as markers that you can see in map view and target.
This would allow to set waypoints and in career mode even if launching in some spots is disabled you can still use them.
Yes please! :)
This would be highly needed also on mobile.
How about runway lights for night landings?
