Exit a craft after it is already full submerged. Or it appears you can just simply load a flight state with an astronaut already underwater. They cannot swim and they are not buoyant.
Oh, by the way, if you're going to improve this project. I hope the astronauts can climb the ladder.

@Silentime What we need is the ability to make add-ons and parts to correspond to inputs, like rotators that mirror the astronaut's movement, kind of like how you set wheels to engines in SP.
I think you can make a work suit for the astronauts in the next version, and the spacesuit is used as a part for extravehystation so that he can swim
To be fair, I imagine those suits aren't particularly lightweight
