@Kaeya honestly i always found it kinda weird how it's the Dutch that got the GAU-8 (of A-10 fame) based Goalkeeper whereas the USA "only" got the M61 Vulcan (which has been equipped on many different aircraft) based Phalanx
the GAU-8 would have the higher firepower, yes, but iirc it requires more specialized ammo that would be more suited to the US where it can be produced easier, though it's entirely possible that the Vulcan also requires specialized ammo, though because of the 10mm lower diameter and likely lower momentum, weight, velocity etc. it's likely easier to make ammo for it than the GAU-8 (then again, i know jack sh*t about weapons manufacturing so these are just my speculative guesses)

@Zenithspeed I will criticize it and say that it is weird that the Grissom class would be armed with Goalkeeper CIWS despite that being a Dutch design, instead of a more fitting US design like the Phalanx.
Of course, it's still an awesome little look into that world and I hope the author continues it.

@Kaeya i think it's better to seperate them, people nowadays don't really like long walls of text (even with pictures and stuff), though if certain components of expressions form a "group" sorts (sin & cos, min & max, etc.) you should bundle them as one, with the rest (e.g. clamp, and whatever the f**k smoothstep does) being solo posts

@Tallisar @Zenithspeed I want to make a sequel to my Expressions tutorial with the new knowledge I’ve been accumulating, but I don’t think the old tutorial post formatting (focusing on one singular use for the title modifier) would really work that well with Expressions’ use and complexity. Do you think it would be a better idea for me to make a singular Expressions tutorial post where I discuss their various uses in different contained segments (like one segment on how to make clamps, one on height generation, etc, plus one on how to combine the aforementioned modifiers or others together in an Expression.), that I continuously add upon and update as I figure out more about Expressions?
