Third planet from Alpha. Atmosphere is not breathable, and is composed mainly of deuterium and helium. Jaro probably doesn't have a core.
Lore:
Jaro is sought after by colonizers, warlords, and merchants because of its deuterium atmosphere. Jaro was targeted by the Qad in YW1 because they needed a steady source of deuterium to continue the conquest of the Alpha system. There were already cities and extraction plants here, most of which survived the war. After capturing all of the Ferragor-owned facilties on the planet, the Qad realized that they needed to build more extraction plants to meet their needs. So they did. They also captured the civilians forcing them to do slave labor in the gas extraction plants. In the Yumo-Qad treaty that ended the war, all formerly enslaved citizens of Jaro were to be paid for their work by the Qad, and all Qad facilities on the planet were to be given to the Ferragor.
Population:
Today, there are about 4 billion people on the planet, most of which work in the extraction plants.

@VectronTechnologies damn, I do love this world and it's lore, I feel it is pretty nifty, however, I would suggest 1 thing, perhaps maybe the Quad should put up orbital defence points which remain to this day,
When I receive enough feedback, I will start working on the version of Jaro that will be released in the Alpha System Version 0.2. When I post it, this preview will be deleted.
