As promised in our original Dev Post, it is May the 4th and we are here to bring you the explosions and enhancements to the damage system to start your own star wars.
After a period under experimental and beta updates on PC, we are going to have a small beta on mobile too before getting 0.9.910 into the stable branch. You never know what may arise when running the game on hundreds of devices on a different platform, but if the planets align 0.9.913 should need no extra fixes to go out of beta.
With the release of 0.9.910 we are going to slow down the update frequency a bit as we focus on some core mechanics of the Career Mode that aren't as easy to translate into separate updates.

Join the iOS beta here and the Google Play beta here. Join the Steam beta by right-clicking SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select "beta - Public Testing" from the dropdown.

Mobile updates will be rolling out in the coming days as they are reviewed by the respective app stores.

@hopy22 do you have a link to the mega rocket? And by legs you mean the in-game legs or custom made legs? Do you have a link to any example?
landing legs break too easily now. cant reuse my rockets anymore
My Mega Rocket explodes every separation.
Astronauts break too easily. Sometimes they just explode when you EVA from the craft. Should be an option to turn off the damage, other than that I do like this update

I love that the astronaut dies and everything else but the parts are too weak. all my helicopters explode in mid-flight and on landing. It is unfortunate.
Well if the game is getting explosive propulsion, I’m guessing Someone’s going to make an Orion drive lol

@Flamoringo I have tried dozens of crafts and they don't break, so luckily it isn't all crafts. If you have any example of such problematic crafts uploaded could you ping me in the comments of a couple of them?
