So apparently you can get to the tinker panel of a Drood by opening the tinker panel of another part and selecting the Drood with it still open. With some number tuning, trial and error, and 22 test subjects lost in interstellar space, I was able to narrow down the right values to produce… this… monstrosity. Its basically Superman on budget cuts.
How to “fly”:
1. Jump and ping a couple thousand meters into the sky.
2. Tilt the Drood so he’s face down, head forward.
3. Maniuplate the rotation/translation controls to go anywhere you want!
I edited his EVA pack to have infinite fuel so yes, I do mean anywhere.
