For me it's the career mode and the planet building feature. Can't wait to hop across trinary star systems while delivering cargos, while planning how to save costs with your rocket. It tickles my gaming bone.

Career mode, planet builder, lights, import custom images for logos, flags and text editor.
Astronauts for Eva missions.
Functional instruments like in ksp, for measure things like atmosphere, or send date to the earth, etc. -
