I've always felt that the greatest thing about SimplePlanes has been the community and the uploading and sharing of airplanes. Every day we are blown away by the creativity of our players and this has been one of the key features that we wanted to bring to SimpleRockets 2.
Over the past few weeks, I've added the functionality to easily upload crafts to SimpleRockets.com from within the game. Here's a screenshot of the Upload dialog in SR2:
The web page for your uploaded craft will provide several details, including staging information, performance data, orthogonal images, etc. Here's a screenshot of the current details page:
Also, other players will be able to leave comments, upvote it, and of course download it. If they upload a derivative work, you will be automatically credited and receive bonus points for any points they receive.
Once we get a little closer to release, I plan on adding similar functionality for uploading sandboxes. I think it would be very cool to see players taking turns building on a sandbox over time, providing screenshots, and telling a story. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

How do I actually add a craft to the game? Which folder does it go into? Couldn't find any specific folder to put it in. Sorry if this was asked before, but I couldn't find anything on this topic. Maybe it should be added to this post so people know how to do it? @AndrewGarrison
