Truely the most beautiful planet in the drooian system, cant wait for ESS 3.0 to release, for it to get some moons.

Use the part connections tool to edit the connections on parts, it should be relatively self-explanatory.

The newest experimental beta on steam has this and a lot more stuff aswell. The official update will hopefully release soon though.

You could check if there are sudden changes in mass or thrust and then activate the abort activation group. Il'l work something out and include a pic in this comment later.
This is what I've been able to do so far.

You go to the part shape tool tap on the end of a fuel tank or strut and change the corner radius

@pedro16797 yes but i think it is more interesting to make sstos that take off and land like a plane

Make sure that your rcs thrusters are symmetrically placed around your craft and that they lie on the center of mass. Also you can press T while in flight to activate translation mode to move your craft to the sides forwards and backwards.

If you mean camera on mfd then no you cant, It'd be really performance intesive as you'd have to draw the entire scene again from the pov of the camera

@DrooMulticompany At the end of the day its still up to the devs to decide, also making a decision purely based on an internet poll doesnt seem like the best thing anyways

With the recent atmosphere changes it might be more viable to use jets to get to a higher altitude first and then switch to rocket engines for the rest of the ascend, typically methalox is quite nicely suited for that purpose as its a great balance between density and efficiency.

You can use the comparison blocks to see if for example one number is bigger than the other, if it is the case it will execute all of the blocks inside of the if block.

These are the questions that vizzy enthusiast have asked themselves since the beginnings of time. Fr though there are many ways to go about it and none of the answers fit inside of a small comment, but if you want to learn about it and/or need some help on the topic i'd suggest going to the SRC discord, theres a dedicated channel just for vizzy conversations.

@Tweedle_Aerospace bro, whats you're point? I could've posted it half a year ago but i never got around to finishing the extra features i wanted to implement. The video is meant to show the fact that it works, and not be a trailer for the craft itself being posted.

    +1 3.1 years ago
  • Profile image

@Tweedle_Aerospace again, no. A craft file is just a small piece of text telling the game how represent a craft in game, a mod file is a package that add new code or even prefabs to the game, it can alter core funtions of a game and add entirely new content to it which a simple text file cannot. The problem that apple has, is that they dont want third party executable code that they cant check themselves runking on their devices and i dont think that will change, as its a fundamental part of their tos.

@Chtite451SR2 the problem with tidal lock is, that its not an existing feature, you have to manually set the rotation value of the moon to the orbital period, which will never truely line up perfectly.

    +1 3.4 years ago

@Thorne you just add it to the HeightFinal Pass and it lets you specify the size, pos (lat/long) and elevation and makes a perfectly flat circle at that position. It also blends into the ground automatically.

You can use the radial flatten modifier to make a flat area as far as im aware.

    +1 3.4 years ago
  • Profile image

Thats kind of a thing already. You can group parts together which will simplify the part meshes and do some other stuff as far as i know.

    +1 3.4 years ago

There is a mod that allows you to do that, it would be cool if it would be implemented in the stock game though.

If you're talking about ion engines the battery/solar panel can be placed anywhere on the craft and it should work, the xenon fuel does have to be connected to the engine itself though.
