Simple Remote Target Resupply Bot
Please set Physics setting to HIGH for it to walk properly
Mostly a novelty now and since decommisioned, the R.T.R.B. was originally designed to be unmanned and reach remote scientific research locations for resupply.
Sometimes used for rescue missions, it can travel without solar power for many hours and travel deep inside asteroid and planetary caves. Its cozy interior has room to keep 2 astronauts comfortable for up for 6 months.
Its unmatched terrain agility made its rivals tremble... (Max climbing pitch 10 degrees)
Legs are indestructible for melee with local aliens but mostly because they would just fall off during travel..
Don't use active stages, I left them vanilla and you'll want that fairing to stay on for protection during hard planetary landings with the parachutes.
AG 8- Parachutes
AG 9- Solar Panels
AG 0- Docking Port
~If you enjoyed this craft but wish to have the option to turn walk off and on, try out my “BlackOPS RTRB” HERE it walks, runs, jumps and drops cargo. Plus more~

Thanks folks @GildedPanther @Obtheplanedestroyer
Scuttle scuttle
This is just creepy as hell to me... i love it.
I tried small tires unfortunately. Walks weird and no change in traction.
@XPERIM
Oh man Ive tried almost everything for parts and sizes and weightless @XPERIM
My best success was taking the last section of legs off and letting the hinge touch the ground.
It walked like crap and didnt look like a spider but would climb up to 20-25 degrees.
I tried tiny light hinges on the ends of the exiting feet too but makes it walk like crap and fall over.
Honestly I think it will end up being done with a leg position change and/or longer legs.
Plus the proper walking pattern to make a smooth transition with the legs.
Goodluck if you venture into it.
Well if you ever find a way to give the feet more traction to climb mountains on Droo, make sure you upload it for everyone please @XPERIM
Download my other RTRB called Black Ops RTRB on my Posts Page.
It doesn't walk until you ask it to.
It also jumps and runs and has Cargo to drop.
I cant figure out how to link it here though @XPERIM
Thanks @HYPERPINEAPPLE9987
-Click your Command Pod and select the option to Edit Activation Groups @Rockets100
-Alternatively if you can not get to the Command Pod easily, you can find it in the search Parts tool
-or go to View Options and toggle Pilot to On. Then choose Select Command Pod and then go to the option to Edit Activation Groups.
Hope that helps
@TestRunner how do you name the action groups?
Truly Awesome!!!
I am Very happy people like it. It was a fun build. Thank you very much @Bmcclory
@Yeetskeetdbbd
THIS THING IS INSANE,This thing really is cool
@TestRunner yeah no problem. I love your craft, it's so creepy in such a goodway!
That was exactly what the issue was!
This Craft only walks on High setting physics I guess.
I was sure I went through all the settings.
Thanks a ton! @Bmcclory
Hmmm, I will look into it.
I messed with some things and did nothing so its back to default. Thank you @Bmcclory
@TestRunner with it moving slower on your phone, is this because of your physics settings?
Haha, Actually was only a 4 hour build and mostly getting the legs to work.
Hard part is finding a way to make it walk up very steep hills. (Edit: something like 10 hours on the newer legs). @PorkyClown3
simple...?

cool
Right on, thanks folks!
Something that KSP can't do
Super creepy and cool
Your very welcome @TestRunner
Haha thanks! @XPERIM
And thank you to everyone interested
