Our new heavy-lift launch vehicle, Eagle Heavy, is to debut in a few days. Launch is currently slated for May 17. However, we feel that launching a perfectly good rocket with no payload or just a mass simulator is a waste. Just as Elon Musk sent his very own Tesla Roadster to Mars on Falcon Heavy’s first flight back in 2018, we want a payload for Eagle Heavy’s first flight that is interesting, out of the ordinary, and maybe even a little funny. The payload can be an actual functioning satellite or spacecraft, or perhaps more of a memorial, time capsule, or even something that isn’t ever meant to be sent into space! Just, make sure if it is the latter that the payload reflects human engineering, exploration, or technological development, or even just space itself. Remember though that this is a test flight, so while there are no launch fees, 100% success is not guaranteed. The customer is the decider of where their payload is sent to, be it anywhere from LEO to Mars, to beyond the edge of the solar system itself.

Specifications for Eagle Heavy are as follows:

Payload Fairing Height: 50ft
Payload Fairing Diameter: 18ft
Launch Vehicle Payload to LEO: 112,500lbs

If a different destination is needed for your payload, refer to the comments below.

We look forward to collaborating with you on this project future customer!

Eagle Heavy successfully preformed a 60-second static fire test on Pad 12 today, ahead of its Maiden Flight!

@VonKarmanIndustries, @Luc3s, @MustMusk, and @OACOTEOC, you are all eligible to bid for a payload onboard Eagle Heavy’s Maiden Flight. Submissions must be in by May 16, and detailed within where you want the payload launched to. Remember that this is a test flight, so no launch fees, but also 100% success isn’t guaranteed. Probably only one will be chosen.

@QuantumSpaceJNO, will take this into consideration, thank you. Likely will be able to deliver more than 10.
