The idea is to have a part or an option in paint, so you can place a text, and be able to type for example "Test rocket 1" And that text is placed on the craft as a part or texture of the fuel tank.
You could even put images from the internet like a flag of you country and place it in your craft.

@zzazza I think it's more likely that they are trying yo make the text stick to the surface instead of hovering above.
